HEA and PPA HyperCel sorbents are members of a family of Pall chromatography sorbents designed for direct capture of proteins or contaminant removal from crude feedstreams. These sorbents bind proteins by a mixed-mode mechanism, principally hydrophobic interaction, operating in non-conventional, low-salt conditions (physiological HIC). Protein binding is typically acheived in physiological conditions, in most cases without addition of salt.
